Whether you’re adjusting to being back in the office, or if you’re working from home with the family, it is important that you create a morning routine to ensure that you are able to make the most out of your day.

Here are 4 steps you can take to get back into your morning routine...

Create a schedule

Many of us have had the pleasure over the last 6 months to start, and end, our workday whenever we feel like it. In order for us to get back into a routine, we must create a schedule—especially if you're still working from home.

Whether it’s 8 am to 4 pm, or 11 am to 7 pm, create a schedule that works for your lifestyle and stick to it!

Get up!

Are you one of those people who snooze their alarm multiple times? We know "just 5 more minutes" sounds like a good idea, but how many times has this made you late for something, or caused you to feel flustered because you're in a rush to get out of the door on time?

Try getting up after the first alarm. Initially, this may be difficult to do, but over time you may even forget what a snooze button looks like.

Get moving!

Don’t go straight from bed to the office. Spend some time stretching out your body through yoga or a morning run to get your blood flowing. This will help you think sharper, and work more efficiently throughout the day.

Hair, makeup, & no pj’s

Yes, even if you’re working from home, you should make an effort to look your best. When you look good, you feel good, which leads to a productive day of work.

Getting dressed for the day doesn't have to mean full-on glam. Simply throw on a pair of jeans or comfortable pants, a nice top, grab your favorite lipgloss, and put on your LivSo Moisturizing Lotion.
